If I've had surgery on my back, can I use Fisher Traction?Updated a year ago

If you have been cleared by your surgeon to engage in normal activities you should be fine. If the surgery was not up towards where you’d put your hand on your hips and waist area there should not be any reason not to try it. We would suggest starting with very light traction ( pull force) making sure it does not aggravate where you had surgery.

As always, best practices is to consult with your surgeon to make sure they do not have any objections to traction. You might want to show them your Fisher Traction device and how it works.
